Growing Spirit is the first Nature and Educational Program to adopt the Indigenous Quaponda curriculum (Q.I.). In 2018, the Q.I. was traditionally passed down to Willis Quaponda the creator of GRWSPRT. She educates families on how to teach themselves through experiencing living history, nature, and a child's imagination. During the class, parents can join their children in the program or enjoy lake recreation, forest walks, and kayaking at the Talulah Lakes maintained by GCVB agents with all Safety Precautions and COVID friendly logistics applied. 100% of proceeds go to the CIRCA 1111 (501-c3 organization) to preserve the Aquifers of Johns Island and its local heroes who have sustained the living-history© for public access to water.
